Jamilah, originally from United States, has spent the past four years living in the Middle East. She received a B.S. in Political Science and French from Oklahoma State University, and a graduate diploma in Professional Development from the American University in Cairo, Egypt. She is currently finishing an M.A. in International Affairs from the Lebanese American University in Beirut, Lebanon, focusing on Iranian foreign policy. As an avid activist and writer, she has worked with the Carnegie Middle East Center and the ILO on numerous research projects in the region. She shares an unique interest in Lebanese, Syrian, and Iranian politics. She is educated and proficient in English, French, and Arabic.
